Service
I – Service is the means by which the individual contributes to the Common Good.
II – Those who serve give of themselves willingly for the good of others.
III – Service is not for those who serve but for those served.
IV – Service may be directed toward any goal or ideal that supports the Common Good.
V – Service is an act of merit that contributes to the persistence of the community.
VI – Those who serve should seek no reward as service is an expression of humility and purpose.
VII – Those who serve should be honored and rewarded as service generates merit worth quality and persistence.
VIII – Service is beneficial to the Common Good and to the individual.
