Cooperation

I – Each individual possesses unique capabilities and limitations.

II – No individual can meet all physical, cognitive, or practical demands alone.

III – As societies develop, their structures and functions become increasingly complex.

IV – Increasing complexity requires knowledge, skills, and effort that exceed the capacity of any single individual.

V – The maintenance and advancement of society therefore depend on the combined contributions of many individuals.

VI – When individuals fail to coordinate their contributions, the functioning and progress of society are hindered.

VII – When individuals do coordinate their contributions they serve both the Common Good and the individual.
