The Purpose of Musing

I – The purpose of Musing is to articulate a foundational faith that enables meaningful interaction and shared understanding across disparate individuals, groups, and traditions.

II – Many religious, philosophical, and scientific traditions are constrained by inherited structures that limit their ability to adapt to new contexts.

III – Because these traditions often resist revision, individuals may struggle to apply their teachings to contemporary challenges.

IV – As a foundational faith, Those Who Muse affirms that the wisdom of the past provides essential interpretive tools for remaining oriented toward truth.

V – Those Who Muse also recognizes the necessity of looking toward the future and adapting as understanding deepens.

VI – The foundational faith and understanding of Those Who Muse will necessarily change as our understanding of existence and its Source evolves.

VII – As a foundational faith, Those Who Muse provides the philosophical and moral structures required to persevere within an uncertain and increasingly complex world.

VIII – Those Who Muse offers a basis of orientation and understanding that remains flexible, integrative, and responsive to new knowledge.

IX – The foundational work of Those Who Muse must be a collective effort undertaken by many learned individuals committed to the advancement of conscious beings.

X – This collective work must be rigorously tested, clearly articulated, and simply rendered so that it may be understood and applied by all.
