Pillar of Existence

I – The Pillar of Existence is the first religious symbol of Those Who Muse.

II – As a pendant it shall be a cylinder 6cm tall with a diameter of 1cm. The top and bottom surface of said cylinder shall be flat, that is at a 90-degree angle to the 6cm main length.

III – There will be a suitably sized hole in the top 1cm to allow a cord to be inserted for hanging.

IV – There will be 4 horizontal groves 2mm wide and 1mm deep. These groves centerlines will be located at 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm from the top of the cylinder. These groves will run around the entire circumference of the cylinder.

V – There will be 1 vertical grove 2mm wide and 1mm deep. This grove will run continuously around the full vertical lengths of the cylinder including the top and bottom surfaces. Said vertical grove will be at 90 degrees compared to the hole used for hanging. This vertical grove will intersect and connect with the 4 horizontal groves.

VI – The exact dimensions can be changed as needed dependent on requirements. The basic design should however be adhered to. Specifically, the pillar, the four horizontal groves, and the single vertical grove.

VII – Any reasonably durable material can be used. Any manufacturing process can be used.

VIII – The cylinder itself is representative of existence. The 4 horizontal lines represent our place within existence. X, Y, Z, and T. The single vertical line represents the individual.
